Istid

Finally I got to visit Istid on Jægersborggade in Nørrebro. Istid is a tiny sweet ice cream shop, where they serve fresh ice cream without any additives. They make ice cream with liquid nitrogen, and freezes the ice cream in pretty Kitchen aid machines, first after you order it. It’s fun to look at, and equally entertaining for both adults and children.

They have four different types of ice cream to choose from, which is replaced every month. I went for a Salty caramel topped with almond crunch w. rosemary & sea salt. My friend Susan got a Rhubarb swirl cheesecake.

The ice cream had a delicious and creamy consistency and tasted absolutely delishious, so I’ll definitely come back soon. Nom nom! Istid also has a striking neon sign on the wall, to my delight, since I have a small neon sign fetish. ;)
